• FRENCH LAVENDER MEETS CEDAR FOREST Real lavender essential oil for that classic calming, sleep-friendly herbal note, layered with warm, woody cedarwood for grounded depth. Not the cloying lavender of mass-market drugstore soap this is the real plant, balanced so it works just as well for men as for women.

Lavender on its own can read a little floral, a little soft. Pairing it with cedarwood is what turns it into a grown-up scent the kind you don't get tired of, the kind that works on anyone. The cedarwood pulls the lavender into woodier, warmer territory. Together they make this our most universally-loved bar, the one couples actually share without one of them complaining about the smell. Underneath the scent is the same foundation we put under every Rich's Backyard bar: grass-fed beef tallow rendered down to the kind of clean, useful fat your skin recognizes. Castor oil for thick, stable lather. White kaolin clay for a silky feel and gentle cleansing on the face. This is the bar for the end of the day. The one you reach for when you want a hot shower to actually do something for you, not just rinse you off.
